The Public Relations Department (PRD) of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) has organized a two-day training program to equip their personnels in the handling of ceremonies.The purpose for the training is to build the communication skills and confidence of participants in handling of public events organized by the Service.

A three member team comprising of Ms. Efua Can, Ms. Bridget Mensah and Mr. Issac Ametefe were the Resource Persons from the Information Services Department (ISD) who graced the occasion.

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of National Ambulance Service, Dr. Maxwell Ampofo , speaking at the Opening Ceremony on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah who was on an equally important assignment, welcomed the Resource Persons and urged the participants to get themselves involved as the training will go along way to build their confidence and boost their communication skills.

“I urge you all to take advantage of this training to enable you handle public events whenever you are called upon”. The participants were taken through Introduction to Public Speaking, How to be a good Public Speaker, How to Master Ceremonies (MCs) among other important key topics.

The participants exhibited what they have learnt practically and Certificates were awarded to all participants.
