NATIONAL AMBULANCE SERVICE CEO AND HIS MONITORING TEAM TOUR THREE REGIONS


SEWHI BEKWAI TRADITIONAL AREA OFFER LAND FOR REGIONAL NATIONAL AMBULANCE SERVICE OFFICE.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Ambulance Service (NAS), Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah and his monitoring team from the Service headquarters in Accra, have visited the Western North, Western and Central regions of Ghana.The purpose for the visit was to understand how staff within these regions operate and to address challenges facing them.

In the Western North Region, the CEO and his team from the National headquarters met the MCE of Bekwai Bibiani Awiaso, Hon. Alfred Armah and the Chiefs and elders OF Sehwi Bekwai Traditional Area as well as staff of the National Ambulance. He spoke on the welfare of the Service personnel and also encouraged them to work tirelessly and effectively to serve mother Ghana.
Also, he called on the traditional rulers and the Assembly to support the National Ambulance Service whenever the need arises.

The Omanhene of Sehwi Bekwai Traditional Council, Nana Basiape Kwadwo Armah lll has offered to provide land for the National Ambulance Service (NAS) construct regional office at Sehwi Bekwai in the Western North region. The Omanhene says, the Ambulance Service provides essential services of which their needs and welfare should be prioritized.
He mentioned that, the Traditional Council will support the Ambulance Service to enable them function effectively. Nana Basiape Kwadwo Armah lll made this known when the MCE of Bekwai Bibiani Awiaso, Hon. Alfred Armah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NAS, Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah and his entourage visited the palace. Addressing the Omanhene, the CEO of NAS, Prof. Ahmed Zakariah applauded the chiefs for their unflinching support to the Service.
Prof. Zakariah also charged the chiefs to put in more effort and support to enable sound environment for personnel to work effectively.

OGUA TRADITIONAL AREA LAUDS NATIONAL AMBULANCE SERVICE FOR TIMELY PRE-HOSPITAL CARE.

The last visit was at Cape Coast where the team paid a courtesy call on the Chiefs and elders of the Ogua traditional area.The Chiefs were excited to have the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah and his team. They pledged to support the National Ambulance Service so it can effectively serve the people of Ogua.

The President of the Ogua traditional area, Osaberima Kwesi Atta ll has lauded the National Ambulance Service (NAS) for the timely care service they provide in the Central regionAccording to Osaberima Kwesi Atta ll, the Ambulance Service has helped curbed high rate of death and saved more lives in the region.

He said the professionalism and techniques personnel from the Service exhibit is the best, from transporting trauma patients to medical patients.The traditional council assured their support to the Service to help provide quality pre-hospital healthcare and continue to save lives.Osaberima Kwesi Atta ll made this commendation when the CEO of NAS, and his team paid a courtesy call to the Chief

On the part of the CEO of NAS, Prof. Zakariah thanked Nananom for their support to the Service. He also assured that personnel of the Service are trained to give timely care and to save lives, hence they will continue to exhibit the features.Prof. Ahmed Zakariah finally pleaded with the head of the traditional are to help acquire a land for the Service to construct its regional office.

CAPE COAST HOSPITAL TO GET AMBULANCE STATION – PROF. ZAKARIAH

The University of Cape Coast was not left out as the Pro – Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dora Francisca Edu-Buandon received the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) and his monitoring team

During a discussion about the University’s hospital, PRO hinted the provision of an ambulance station at the hospital to help provide proper post hospital care for the people of Cape Coast and its environs. The CEO of NAS, Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah has assured the University of Cape Coast hospital that, his outfit will soon establish an Ambulance Unit within the hospital.

''This Unit will help compliment the hospital and to ease burden on the hospital’s ambulance van which breaks down more often due to pressure on it''. This response came after the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast Prof. Dora Francisca Edu-Buandon called on the Service for assistance
