Late EMT Laid to Rest


The mortal remains of SEMT Abraham Tetteh, aged 42 has been laid to rest at his hometown Sagleme – Tsopoli in the Greater Accra region. The late EMT met his untimely death after a gang of armed robbers numbering about eight shot him through his fore head and later died at the Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital.

The late Abraham Tetteh with his junior colleague were transporting a patient from Akuse Government hospital to the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua ,where the armed robbers ambushed them on their way to the receiving facility in Koforidua.SEMT Abraham after he was shot, was rushed to Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital where he died on admission.

Late Abraham Tetteh joined the National Ambulance Service in the year 2010 with his Batch group as Batch Five. He rose through the ranks to become Senior Emergency Medical Technician (SEMT) in the service. He left behind a wife and two children.
