To review its programe of work for the year 2023, the National Ambulance Service, has organised a Mid-year review to assess its performance and also strategize for the rest of the year. The mid-year review, organized by the PPRM&E of NAS, brought together various departments, units and the regional heads to take stock of its activities.
The two-day programme was held at NAS Headquarters conference room from August 14 to 15; with the regional administrative managers presenting their programme of work on a virtual platform. Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer for the Service, Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah, urged staff to continue to show appreciation, commitment and loyalty to the Service in order to motivate stakeholders to do more for the service.
" We must continue to show appreciation, commitment and loyalty to our superiors and the Service as a whole so that it can attract the superiors and stakeholders to come to our aid " he said Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah added that Heads of Department and Regional Administrators should strive to provide maximum output with the available scarce resources.
The Deputy Director of Operations , Dr Foster Ansong Bridjan, also advised Regional Administrators to ensure that the Ambulance fleet is handled with care so as to boost the longevity of the vehicles. Prof. Zakariah commended the PPRM&E for the organization of the programme, urging other departments, units and the regional administrations to be proactive.
