The Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service, Mr. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah has urged recruits of the EMT-Basic Training Course batch 11 not to surrender in the face of difficulties but to remain focused and strong.
He said this during a working visit at the Paramedic and Emergency Care Training School.
Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah gave a word of caution to the recruits, not to see their new career as an opportunity to constitute themselves into unauthorised health agencies on any occasion or be driven by illegitimate passion for money.
Furthermore, he called on them to ensure delivery of quality pre-hospital medical care at all times and to put all that has been taught at the training school into good use to help elevate the image of the service. He further advised them to be law abiding, faithful and loyal to their motherland and grow steadily in their career whiles they stay away from unprofessional acts.
The CEO, finally commended the facilitators, instructors and the NAS regimental band for their tremendous commitment and dedication throughout the period of training.
