Ashanti Regional NAS, on July 3, 2026, facilitated a life-saving emergency care session for fitness trainers, alternative medical practitioners, and physiotherapists participating in a three-day training programme organized by Pakike Integrated Physical Sports Therapy and Fitness Center at Anwomaso High Tension.
The training was led by SAEMT Mansurat Abdul Ganiyu and focused on essential life-saving skills, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), bleeding control, and choking management.
Participants were taken through both theoretical and practical sessions, where they gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in recognizing and responding to life-threatening emergencies, performing high-quality CPR, controlling severe bleeding, and managing choking victims before the arrival of emergency medical services.
The engagement forms part of the National Ambulance Service's ongoing commitment to public education in emergency care and its mission to empower individuals and organizations with essential life-saving skills.
The National Ambulance Service expresses its appreciation to Pakike Integrated Physical Sports Therapy and Fitness Center for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to the programme, and remains committed to partnering with institutions to enhance emergency preparedness and improve public safety.
