In a significant moment for the National Ambulance Service (NAS), a formal handing over ceremony was held to mark the transition of leadership from the outgoing Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah, to the incoming CEO, Dr. George Kojo Owusu.
The handing over, which took place at the NAS Headquarters, on Tuesday, 15th July, 2025, was attended by the Chief Director of the Ministry of Health, Mr. Desmond Boateng.
As the National Ambulance Service embarks on a new chapter, this transition signifies not just a change in leadership but a reaffirmation of its commitment to safeguarding lives and delivering timely, professional emergency medical care across Ghana.
