The Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service (NAS), Dr. Patrick Inkoom-Colbelson, has paid a working visit to the Paramedic and Emergency Care Training School (PECTS) in Nkenkaasu. The visit, which took place on Wednesday, 10th September 2025, was aimed at assessing the school’s infrastructure and its readiness to support ongoing and future training programmes.
Dr. Inkoom-Colbelson, accompanied by the Deputy Director of Public Relations, Mr. Simmons Yussif Kewura, and Paramedic Najeeb Mahama, undertook a thorough inspection of key facilities including lecture halls, student and staff accommodation, and training logistics.
He emphasized the importance of ensuring that PECTS maintains the highest standards required to train competent emergency medical professionals, noting that the institution plays a critical role in shaping Ghana’s pre-hospital emergency care system.
The visit underscores NAS leadership’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity and consolidating PECTS’ reputation as a center of excellence for emergency medical training in Ghana.
