The Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service, Dr. (Med) George Kojo Owusu, has led a strategic working visit to Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in the Northern Region aimed at strengthening collaboration in emergency healthcare delivery and pre-hospital care systems.
The engagement focused on ongoing partnerships under the HOPE-MCH, OMCA and REST4D projects, with discussions centred on infrastructure support for ambulance stations, emergency referral coordination, EMT capacity building, as well as improving communication and operational coordination between both institutions.
The meeting further reaffirmed the shared commitment of the National Ambulance Service and CRS to expanding collaboration towards improving emergency response systems, strengthening community healthcare interventions, and enhancing emergency medical services delivery across Northern Ghana.
Together, both institutions remain committed to saving more lives through resilient partnerships and responsive emergency healthcare systems.
