NAS CEO ATTENDS OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF GNFS AUTOMATED FIRE COMPLIANCE AND SAFETY SYSTEM
The Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service, Dr. George Kojo Owusu, attended the official launch of the Automated Fire Compliance and Safety System (AFCAS), a collaborative initiative between the Ministry of the Interior and the Ghana National Fire Service.
AFCAS is a transformative digital platform designed to modernize fire safety certification, inspection management, and compliance processes across the country.
In his speech, Dr. Owusu extended warm congratulations and expressed solidarity with stakeholders on the launch of the system. He noted that the innovative initiative marks a pivotal step toward strengthening fire prevention and enhancing public safety nationwide.
He further commended the Ghana National Fire Service and the National Ambulance Service for their continuous collaboration in protecting lives and property and ensuring effective emergency response for all Ghanaians.
The launch forms part of the Government’s broader commitment to improving public safety, advancing regulatory reform, and strengthening national resilience.
