NAS CEO Engages Karaga District Assembly

As part of his ongoing operational tour of the Northern Region, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service, Dr. (Med) George Kojo Owusu, paid a working visit to the Karaga District Assembly to strengthen collaboration and discuss support for emergency medical service delivery in the municipality.
The NAS delegation met with the District Chief Executive, Hon. Iddrisu Yakubu Dasana, at the Assembly’s office. The DCE warmly welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to supporting emergency healthcare delivery within the district.
Dr. Owusu expressed appreciation for the reception and appealed to the Assembly to support the National Ambulance Service with office accommodation for the Karaga Ambulance Station.
In response, Hon. Dasana pledged the Assembly’s support in providing office space for the station and further assured Management of assistance towards the maintenance of the ambulance whenever necessary.
The NAS CEO later visited the Karaga Ambulance Station, where he engaged with the Station Manager and staff. He commended personnel for their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to delivering timely emergency medical services to the people of the municipality.
