NAS CEO Inspects Ongoing Renovation Of Yendi Ambulance Station …Commends Catholic Relief Services And Staff For Commitment To Service

As part of his working tour of the Northern Region, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service (NAS), Dr. (Med) George Kojo Owusu, paid a visit to the Yendi Ambulance Station to inspect ongoing renovation works being undertaken through the HOPE-MCH Project in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS).
The renovation project, currently estimated at 80% completion, is aimed at improving the working environment and operational capacity of the station to enhance emergency medical service delivery within the Yendi enclave and surrounding communities.
During the inspection, the contractor assured Management that the project would be fully completed and handed over to the National Ambulance Service within the next two weeks.
Dr. Owusu expressed appreciation to Catholic Relief Services (CRS) for their continuous support and commitment towards strengthening emergency healthcare infrastructure through the HOPE-MCH Project.
The NAS CEO also commended personnel at the Yendi Ambulance Station for their dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to service despite operational challenges.
He reiterated Management’s commitment to improving staff welfare and operational conditions across all regions as part of efforts to strengthen emergency medical services nationwide.
