As part of his ongoing operational tour of the Northern Region, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service (NAS), Dr. George Kojo Owusu, paid working visits to the Wulensi and Kpandai Ambulance Stations to interact with personnel and assess the operational needs of the stations.
During the visits, Dr. Owusu commended staff for their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and courage in the delivery of lifesaving pre-hospital emergency care, despite the demanding operational pressures associated with emergency response duties.
The engagements also provided an opportunity for Management to reaffirm its commitment to strengthening operations across the Service through:
• Improving the working environment at the stations
• Enhancing staff capacity to deliver quality emergency care
• Providing the necessary consumables and logistical support for effective service delivery
The visits form part of Management’s broader efforts to strengthen emergency medical services delivery and improve staff welfare across the country.
