The National Ambulance Service (NAS) has trained selected staff of Toyota Tsusho Manufacturing Company in Basic Life Support (BLS) at the company’s Kumasi office on 10th October 2026. Facilitated by SAEMT Mansurat Abdul Ganiyu and SAEMT Gyimah Samuel, the training covered Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and the recovery position, combining theoretical lessons with practical demonstrations. The Human Resource Manager, Queenster Baiden, commended NAS for the initiative and expressed the company’s interest in extending the training to all staff. The initiative reinforces NAS’s commitment to promoting emergency preparedness and equipping individuals with essential life-saving skills to provide immediate assistance when emergencies occur.
