UNITED BONO SECURITY LADIES FUN GAMES TROPHY
The National Ambulance Service (NAS) Ladies in the Bono Region, represented by the Emergency Medical Ladies Association (EMLAS), delivered an exceptional performance to emerge overall champions of the 2026 United Bono Security Ladies Fun Games.
Held as part of the 2026 Workers’ Day celebrations on 1st May, the event brought together female personnel from the various security services in the Bono Region under the theme: “Fostering Unity and Harmony among the Security Services Ladies within the Region.”
Competing against teams from the Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana Police Service, and Ghana Immigration Service, the NAS Ladies showcased remarkable teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit—finishing first in four categories and placing second in six others to secure the coveted overall trophy.
The trophy presentation took place at the Prison Service Park and was led by CSP Diana Durowaah Kwarteng, Officer-in-Charge of the Sunyani Female Prison. On behalf of the team, the award was received by DCAEMT Eric Mills, Bono Regional Deputy Administrative Manager.
Following their victory, the NAS Ladies have earned the honour of hosting the next edition of the event scheduled for 1st May 2027.
The achievement reflects the growing strength, unity, and excellence of NAS women, both in service delivery and beyond.
