NAS Leadership Joins Ghana’s 69th Independence Day Celebration; EMTs Participate in National Parade
The Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Ambulance Service, Nana Baffuor Kotei Kutin Sraman II (Bremahene), together with the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. George Kojo Owusu, joined other senior government officials and dignitaries at the seat of government in Accra to commemorate Ghana’s 69th Independence Day Celebration.
The national event, which marks Ghana’s attainment of independence, brought together leaders and citizens to reflect on the country’s history, unity, and collective aspirations for the future.
As part of the celebrations, the National Ambulance Service deployed Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and ambulances to provide medical cover, ensuring the safety and well-being of dignitaries, participants, and members of the public throughout the ceremony.
In addition, a contingent of Emergency Medical Technicians proudly participated in the national parade, dressed in their ceremonial attire, showcasing the professionalism, discipline, and readiness of the Service as part of Ghana’s uniformed services contributing to national development.
The presence of the Board Chairman and the CEO at the ceremony underscores the Service’s unwavering commitment to national service and its vital role in safeguarding lives through timely and professional emergency medical response.
As Ghana celebrates 69 years of independence, the National Ambulance Service reaffirms its dedication to strengthening pre-hospital emergency care and contributing to the health and safety of all citizens.
