NAS Management Engages with EMTAG Executives

On Thursday, 4th September 2025, the Management of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) held a high-level meeting with the leadership of the Emergency Medical Technicians Association of Ghana (EMTAG) in Accra.

The meeting created an important platform for open discussions on issues concerning the welfare of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), professional development, and ways of strengthening collaboration between NAS and EMTAG in the collective pursuit of excellence in pre-hospital emergency care delivery.

During the engagement, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation, addressing emerging challenges, and working together to enhance the operational environment of EMTs nationwide.

Management of NAS emphasized that the Service remains resolute in its mission to deliver prompt and professional emergency medical services to save lives, while ensuring that the needs and contributions of EMTs are recognized and supported.

The leadership of EMTAG expressed appreciation for the opportunity to engage with NAS Management and pledged their continuous support in advancing the vision and mandate of the Service.

This engagement underscores the importance of partnership and dialogue in strengthening Ghana’s emergency medical response system for the benefit of the public.
