NAS Strengthens Strategic Partnership with Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA)
The Chief Executive Officer of the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA), Hon. Dr. Andrews Osei Okrah, has paid a working visit to the Headquarters of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) as part of efforts to deepen collaboration between the two institutions.
During the visit, Management of NAS was formally briefed on the upcoming Ghana Tree Crops Investment Summit and Exhibition (GTCIS–2026), scheduled to take place in Accra. TCDA also announced the nomination of two officers from NAS to serve on the GTCIS-2026 Organising Committee, particularly to support security planning, coordination, and risk management for the high-level event.
In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of NAS highlighted the core mandate and activities of the Service and explored areas of mutual benefit, including collaboration on Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid training for TCDA staff.
Hon. Dr. Okrah further encouraged NAS personnel to consider self-investment in tree crops such as cashew, coconut, oil palm, and shea, describing them as economically viable ventures with strong long-term returns.
This engagement reflects NAS’s commitment to strategic partnerships that promote national development, staff empowerment, and institutional excellence.
