RHOTRACKS SYSTEMS ENGAGES NATIONAL AMBULANCE SERVICE ON FLEET MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS
The Management of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) has received a delegation from RHOTRACKS Systems at the Headquarters in Accra, following an engagement aimed at exploring innovative fleet tracking and management solutions to support emergency medical operations.
During the meeting, representatives of RHOTRACKS Systems delivered a presentation outlining their vehicle tracking and fleet management system, designed to improve fleet utilisation, enhance routing efficiency, and support faster emergency response through data-driven operational monitoring.
The presentation highlighted proposed solutions such as real-time vehicle tracking, proximity-based ambulance deployment, traffic-informed routing, and monitoring systems capable of supporting improved vehicle turnaround times and operational efficiency. The system, according to the presenters, also has the potential to assist in managing fuel usage, vehicle availability, and maintenance planning.
Management of the National Ambulance Service welcomed the engagement and reiterated the Service’s commitment to exploring innovative technologies and strategic solutions that can strengthen fleet management and enhance emergency medical response across the country.
The engagement forms part of NAS’s continuous efforts to assess initiatives and partnerships that contribute to improving service delivery and operational effectiveness in the provision of pre-hospital emergency care in Ghana.
