As part of its commitment to promoting workplace safety and emergency preparedness, the National Ambulance Service (NAS), Ashanti Region, on June 17, 2026, conducted a comprehensive emergency care training session for newly recruited staff of Kasapreko PLC.
The training was facilitated by a four-member team led by SAEMT Mansurat Abdul Ganiyu and focused on essential life-saving skills including Basic Life Support (BLS), bleeding control, management of falls, burns management, and other common workplace emergencies.
Participants were taken through both theoretical and practical sessions, where they gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), controlling severe bleeding, and providing immediate first aid care in emergency situations.
The initiative forms part of NAS Ashanti Region’s ongoing public education and outreach efforts aimed at equipping workers with critical emergency response skills to enhance safety and preparedness within the workplace.
Through such collaborations, the National Ambulance Service continues to empower individuals and organizations with life-saving knowledge, contributing to safer workplaces and communities.
