The Chief Executive Officer of the National Ambulance Service (NAS), Dr. (Med) George Kojo Owusu, has presented overalls and safety boots to workshop staff across the Service.
The initiative is aimed at enhancing workplace safety, reducing occupational hazards and injury risks, and enabling technical personnel to carry out their duties effectively and safely.
As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the maintenance culture of the ambulance fleet, the National Ambulance Service also convened a meeting for workshop managers responsible for operations and fleet management across the country.
The meeting, held at the NAS Headquarters in Accra, provided a platform for participants to discuss strategies to improve maintenance efficiency and ensure the operational readiness of the ambulance fleet nationwide.
