The National Ambulance Service (NAS) station in Gomoa East District is back in full operation following the provision of a new engine by the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Margaret Naana Ackom. The ambulance, which had been out of commission since July 17, 2025, due to an engine fault, has now been repaired and restored to active service, thanks to the DCE’s intervention. The Station Manager of the NAS Gomoa East station, PAEMT Eric Jechie Kelly, has taken delivery of the vehicle, which is primed to serve the district and surrounding areas. The intervention highlights the importance of collaboration between local government authorities and the National Ambulance Service in sustaining emergency medical response and ensuring that communities have access to timely prehospital care. Working alongside the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Selom K. Tibu, the DCE’s support represents a significant boost to emergency healthcare delivery in Gomoa East. With the ambulance back on the road, the people of Gomoa East can look forward to strengthened emergency response capacity as NAS continues its commitment to saving lives.
