The Board Chairman of the National Ambulance Service (NAS), Nana Baffour Kotei Kutin Sraman II (Bremahene), has continued his working visit to the Northern Region with a series of engagements focused on infrastructure development, staff motivation, and operational efficiency.
The Board Chairman visited the Yendi, Bimbilla, and Sagnarigu ambulance stations, as well as the Regional Control Room and workshop units, to assess facilities and interact with personnel.
At Yendi and Bimbilla, he inspected newly renovated ambulance station buildings undertaken through the support of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), which are ready for handover. The developments represent an important step towards improving the working environment and strengthening emergency response infrastructure in the region.
At Sagnarigu, the Chairman commended Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), control room operators, and workshop personnel for their dedication, professionalism, and resilience in delivering emergency services. He encouraged staff to pursue further education and professional development to enhance their skills and clinical competencies.
He also charged mechanics and technical personnel to remain committed to their responsibilities to ensure fleet reliability and sustained operational readiness.
The engagements underscored the Board’s commitment to staff welfare, institutional development, and the continuous strengthening of the National Ambulance Service to deliver timely, efficient, and quality pre-hospital emergency care across Ghana.
