Two more ambulances. Two more steps towards strengthening emergency response. Another boost for timely emergency medical care! The National Ambulance Service (NAS) is pleased to announce the return of the Akatsi South and Madina Constituency ambulances to active service under the ongoing Operation Restore Fleet initiative. The Akatsi South Constituency ambulance, which had been out of commission since August 2024, is back on stream following the replacement of its faulty engine. Its return restores an important emergency response asset to the constituency and its environs after more than two years out of service. Similarly, the Madina Constituency ambulance, which had been out of commission since February 2024, has returned to service following the replacement of its engine. Its restoration marks another significant step towards improving ambulance availability and strengthening emergency medical response for residents of Madina, Pantang and surrounding areas These restorations reflect the National Ambulance Service’s continued commitment to getting more ambulances back on the road, improving operational readiness, and ensuring that communities have better access to emergency medical services when every second counts. Operation Restore Fleet is fully in motion. As more ambulances return to active service, NAS remains focused on its commitment to timely emergency care and the preservation of lives across Ghana.
