The National Ambulance Service (NAS) has held a high-level strategic meeting bringing together Management, Regional Administrative Managers and Medical Coordinators from across the country, as part of efforts to strengthen institutional alignment and improve emergency medical service delivery nationwide.
The meeting, held at the NAS Headquarters Conference Room in Accra on Wednesday, 28th January, 2026, focused on defining direction, taking critical decisions, and aligning the entire Service towards long-term success. It also created a platform for open dialogue and the sharing of ideas to enhance operations and improve service delivery across all regions.

Addressing participants, the Chief Executive Officer of NAS, Dr. George Kojo Owusu, commended officers for their hard work, dedication and commitment to the growth of the Service. He urged that all initiatives should translate into measurable outcomes and encouraged inclusive decision-making through active engagement with regional coordinators within their respective jurisdictions.
